Home-Meeting Procedure
  • CNI Meetings will be organised during weekdays or weekends as preferred by the Chapter CEO and Core Team, with an intermediate gap of a fortnight
  • Members need to arrive on time and be present for the entire meeting.
  • Every Member is expected to participate actively in all meetings of the CNI Chapter. The Member will have to depute a substitute representative from his / her company, for all CNI Meetings unattended by him/ her directly.
  • For instance, with two (2) CNI Meetings scheduled every month, the total CNI Meetings scheduled for any year will total to twenty four (24). The maximum number of exceptions permissible for participation of any Member will be two (2) Meetings only.
  • For a thorough understanding; Out of the total 24 CNI Chapter Meets, the Member will have to ensure his direct participation for 20 Meets, which will be mandatory. The Member is permitted to depute a representative (as substitute) from the organisation for participating in the remaining Four (4) meets.
  • The Member has to ensure the participation of the representative, as a substitute in the CNI Chapter Meets unattended by him/her. Failure to depute a representative will be considered as absenteeism and the permitted number of absenteeism for a year will strictly be only two (2).
  • In short, every Member will have to ensure his / her direct participation in 20 meetings during the year and depute a representative for at least two (2) of the remaining four (4) CNI Meets for the year.
  • As stated earlier, every Member is expected to depute the appropriate substitute (preferably with similar profile from the same organisation) for any CNI meeting in the event of his/her inability to participate.
  • Unavoidable absenteeism will have to be reported to the Chapter CEO prior to the start of the meet. The explanation for the unavoidable absenteeism will have to be received and accepted by the Chapter CEO, without which the Member wouldn't be permitted to participate in the forthcoming meet of the chapter.
  • An alert email will be sent to the Member indicating his organisation's nonappearance for the meet with the available number of permissible absenteeism for the year.
  • Consecutive absenteeism for two (2) CNI Meets by any Member, without prior intimation to the Chapter CEO, will result in forfeiture of the Membership fee.
  • Members are expected to be responsibly groomed for every CNI Meet whether Virtual or Physical. CNI Members are to wear the approved uniform dress code of Half-coat Suit in Dark blue colour. Members can purchase the uniform with the CNI logo badge from M/s. Prompt Trade Fairs (I) Pvt Ltd, by mentioning their size and remitting the applicable cost.
  • Time will remain the quintessence of every CNI meet
  • A session for networking among the members will precede the start of any CNI meeting, which could be accommodated for a maximum time duration of 30mins.
  • Members who wish to be benefited from the session are hence encouraged to register their attendance 40 minutes prior to the official starting time of the CNI meeting
  • Each member is expected to record his attendance physically in the register made available at the venue entrance, which is obligatory for the member to enter the meeting venue.
  • All CNI meetings will strictly follow a DND (Do-Not-Disturb) protocol and all participants will be instructed to turn their mobile phones to silent modes of requested to switch off their mobiles phones
  • Every member could avail a maximum presentation time of 45 seconds during the meet and the preference will be provided on First-come-First-served basis, based on the attendance time log.
  • Every CNI meet will start with a welcome note by the chapter CEO / meeting chairman, with a maximum duration of 2 minutes
  • This will be followed by CNI pledge preceded by the chapter CEO for a duration of 1 min
  • Further the secretary will continue with a review of the past meeting performance briefing on the constructive referrals converted to business, for a maximum duration of 3 minutes
  • He will then introduce the external speaker of the meet and hand over the dais to the speaker, who is permitted with 5 minutes.
  • The member presentation session will follow, with a maximum permitted time slot of 45 seconds per member. The session will also include 'ASK FOR' session and exchange of business cards. The total runtime of the session will be 60mins.
  • Visitors as selected by the CNI screening committee and introduced by a participating member, will be permitted from varied business segments of the construction industry, to a maximum strength of 10 numbers per meet. The visitors are permitted with time slots of 30 seconds each.
  • The meet will then progress into the referral sharing session lasting for 30 minutes and conclude with vote of thanks for a duration of 2 minutes.
  • Selected meets will also include a session for Award distribution and recognition of achievement for the members extending for a time duration of 10 minutes.
  • The maximum time duration of a CNI meet will remain to be 2 hours only.
